Roman Semenchenko has worked as the head of the department for national state protection of the Security Service of Ukraine since October 2022.
The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, fired the head of the department for national state protection of the Security Service of Ukraine, Roman Semenchenko. The President signed the corresponding decree No. 37/2024 today, January 31.
The reasons for the dismissal were not reported.
Semenchenko worked in this position since October 2022. Before that, since October 2019, he was the Presidential Commissioner for Monitoring the Activities of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that in Kolomyia the secretary of the city council was fired, calling the deputy a “witch.”
