Bird flu has been detected in mute swans in the Chernivtsi region. This was reported by the State Food Service.
It was noted that on January 30, a case of influenza of wild migratory birds (wild swans) was registered in a lake in the village of Chortoryya in the district of Brusnytskyi municipality, Vyzhnytsia district, Chernivtsi region.
It was mentioned that because of the found flu, by the decision of the State Emergency Anti-Epizootic Commission in Vizhnitsa RVA of Lake S. Some people were declared unfavorable to this disease and quarantine restrictions were imposed. The village has banned visiting the shores of the lakes.
The protection zone within three kilometers includes the village of Chortoryya and the city of Vyzhnytsia. A surveillance zone was introduced in about 20 more villages in the Vyzhnytsia and Chernivtsi regions.
Specialists from the state veterinary medicine service, together with representatives of territorial communities, will examine the birds in private and poultry farms.
