Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this.
According to him, Naftogaz and the state enterprise Ukrgasvydobuvannya increased production volumes by 11%, and also opened new wells of a fairly large volume. There are currently about 10 billion cubic meters of gas in Ukrainian storage facilities.
Earlier, Szmigal said that tariffs for electricity, gas and heat will not change until the end of the heating season.
The electricity tariff for the population will continue to be 2 UAH 64 kopecks. per kWh Gas tariff – 7 UAH 96 kopecks. per cubic meter.
The energy system is balanced. We became part of ENTSO-E and increased our capacity to import electricity to 1.7 GW. This helps with Russian attacks and peak loads,” Szmigal said on January 30 during a telethon.
