Medvedev said that Russia “does not care about the feelings of the Japanese” about the Kuril Islands, because they belong to the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, said that Russia will install new types of weapons in the Kuril Islands, which Japan seeks to return to itself.
He threatened that the “territorial issue” would be closed “once and for all” in accordance with the Russian Constitution.
According to Medvedev, Russia “does not care about the feelings of the Japanese” regarding the Kuril Islands, as they allegedly belong to the Russian Federation.
He also said that “Americans kiss the French more easily, because they have forgotten Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”
Let’s recall that in 2022 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed support for Japan’s position regarding its northern outskirts. The representatives adopted a draft resolution recognizing the Kuril Islands as territory occupied by Russia.
Russia has also reportedly moved air defense systems from the Kuril Islands to the Ukrainian border.
