Zhytomyr police are investigating information about possible mining of medical and educational institutions in the city. This was reported by the representative of the National Police Department in the Zhytomyr region, Victoria Dubovik, writes Ukrinform.
“At 12:15, a message was received from an employee of the Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital that they received a letter at their email address about the bombing of all medical institutions in the city of Zhitomir,” said Dubovik.
At 13:24, an employee of Zhytomyr Polytechnic University reported a similar letter, but it spoke about the bombing of colleges, institutes and universities in the city.
At the time of talking to an Ukrinform correspondent, as the press secretary said, a survey of 56 lyceums in the city and adjacent areas was completed. No explosives or suspicious objects were found, investigations are ongoing.
About 1,500 people were evacuated from educational institutions; traffic is not blocked.
We remind you that last year, on September 1, the police received information about the bombing of all secondary schools in Kyiv. After careful examination, this information has not been confirmed.
