During these unscheduled inspections, many violations were identified in the work of regional TCCs. The defense department is working to systematically correct all shortcomings. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced this on Facebook.
The inspections were carried out as part of steps to clean up the system and it had been an important and busy week, the minister said. There are already first concrete results.
The Ministry of Defense team also conducts unscheduled inspections of food warehouses in military units. Officials revealed a lack of food supplies worth more than UAH 50 million. The Defense Department has changed suppliers to some military units.
Let us recall that the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets stated that employees of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers do not have the right to forcibly detain people, demand and take away their documents.
