Zelensky published declarations of property, income, expenses and financial obligations for 2021 and 2022.
The income of President Vladimir Zelensky and his family decreased from 10.8 million hryvnias in 2021 to 3.7 million in 2022. The relevant information was published on the website of the head of state on Sunday, January 28.
According to the declaration for 2021, the income of Zelensky and his family members amounted to 10 million 824,000 507 UAH. The income of the president’s family in 2021 mainly consists of wages, bank interest and income from the provision of real estate for rent. In total, this amount reached 5 million 464 thousand 907 UAH.
The income of the head of state’s family in 2021 compared to 2020 decreased by 11 million 922 thousand 320 UAH. The cash balance of the Zelensky family also decreased at the end of 2021.
“Zelensky continues to be the owner of a number of trademarks. In particular, in 2021, the process of registration of 22 trademarks was completed, which began long before his election as the President of Ukraine,” said the press service .
According to the 2022 declaration, the income of the head of state and members of his family amounted to 3 million 692 thousand 683 UAH.
It is explained that the income of the Zelensky family for 2022 has decreased due to the temporary termination of lease agreements with Ukraine as a result of the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
The balance of the president’s family funds at the end of 2022 decreased by almost 1 million 800 thousand hryvnias.
“There will be no other changes in 2021 and 2022 related to assets, real estate, vehicles, etc.,” the head of state added on the website.
For 2021, civil servants have already submitted 434,434 declarations to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP), and for 2022 – 351,687. The total number of declarants is about 800 thousand people.
As reported, President Vladimir Zelensky signed Law No. 9534 on the renewal and opening of e-declarations of officials in Ukraine.
