The Ministry of Defense team is working to systematically eliminate all shortcomings, the minister said.
The Ministry of Defense and law enforcement officials conduct unscheduled inspections of food warehouses in military units, TCC (territorial acquisition centers) and SP (social support). At the same time, many violations were recorded in the regions. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov wrote this on Facebook on Sunday, January 28.
“We conduct unscheduled inspections of the TCC and joint ventures in the regions. We record many violations. The Ministry of Defense team is working to systematically correct all shortcomings,” he wrote.
Umerov said that during the inspections they discovered a food supply shortage of more than UAH 50 million.
“We record violations and look at each case separately. Based on the results of a preliminary visit last week, the Ministry of Defense changed the supplier to some military units,” the minister said.
In his message, he thanked the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General “for their well-coordinated cooperation and professional work.”
