During conversations with such prisoners of war, a number of factors were identified that indicate an organized scheme to persuade foreign students to sign a contract with the Russian Federation. This was reported today, January 28, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
It is noted that the Russian system of propaganda and indoctrination works as follows:
- around Moscow universities (Russian Peoples’ Friendship University) where foreigners study, there are a lot of advertisements about the “prospects” of military service;
- group curators and Russian students, who are supposed to help such foreigners with acclimatization and successful mastery of the program, use suggestion to talk about financial support in Russia;
- Having discovered people who have financial problems or an urgent need for large amounts of funds (payment for training, treatment, etc.), they send them to local military registration and enlistment offices. Often, people are sent to such students to steal the funds they have in order to create a feeling of hopelessness and despair;
- after foreign students are blackmailed with the threat of deportation;
- Also, intelligence services through social networks (YouTube, Tik-Tok) conduct targeted advertising on such individuals, if possible, enter into a contract with the morph. The main argument is financial – the opportunity to earn money for further education and living in Russia.
Foreigners are trained on the territory of the Avangard military-patriotic training center.
This facility was founded by the governments of Moscow and the capital region with the support of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Formally, it is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education and Science of the city of Moscow – the Ministry of Education of the capital region. The idea of its creation was personally supported by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, to popularize military and public service among young people.
This center is an integral part of the Patriot Park, a large-scale militaristic cultural and recreation park from Russia. On the territory of the Avangard center, military exercises are regularly held for young people aged 14-17 years. This also serves as a cover for the training of foreigners there, the CNS notes.
On average, about 300 foreigners are trained at this institution at the same time. By origin they are mainly Chinese, Nepalese, Uzbeks, Egyptians, Moldovans and Sri Lankans.
Due to the fact that most foreigners have a very poor command of the Russian language, they are taught sign commands and key words during their subsequent positions in the occupation army, the CNS notes.
Russian officers and sergeants lead foreigners onto the battlefield. After giving the order and determining options, the officers leave them there while they return to the rear positions.
Foreigners in the Russian army are traditionally treated with disdain and carelessness; they are not particularly looked after, and their position is comparable to units formed from prisoners,” the CNS notes.
The CNS calls for the dissemination of an appropriate disclaimer of potential threats for foreigners who are still studying or intend to receive higher education in Russia.
In the event of contact with such persons, we recommend that residents of the TOT inform them about the possibility of surrendering to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, where they will be guaranteed proper treatment as prisoners of war, the CNS notes and also urges them to report the location of such military personnel from the Russian Federation to the appropriate chatbot .
