In the village of New York, Donetsk region, on January 27, the removal of rubble of a three-story building was completed. Rescuers found the bodies of five people under the rubble. This was reported by the head of Donetsk regional military administration Vadim Filashkin on Telegram.
“The search operation lasted almost two weeks – the rescuers discovered the remains of the bodies of all five victims,” he wrote.
As you know, on January 15, Russian troops dropped two guided bombs in the village of New York and hit a three-story house with a missile – the entrance to the house collapsed.
Three people were injured, and five other residents were trapped under the rubble of the house. On January 16, search operations were suspended due to widespread shooting.
