The occupants opened fire on a car with civilians driving on the road between two villages of the Khotyn community, Sumy district.
The brothers, who were shot by a Russian reconnaissance and sabotage group in the Sumy region, were moving in a car when they were attacked. The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Saturday, January 27.
According to investigators, the event took place on the morning of January 27. A 54-year-old man and his 68-year-old sister were driving on the road between two villages of the Khotyn community, Sumy district. A man is driving. It was at this moment that the car was shot down by the Russians.
A pre-trial investigation was launched on this fact in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war, accompanied by intentional killing.
We remind you that on January 10, in the Chernigov region, Russian saboteurs shot a civilian vehicle. The victim of the enemies was a man born in 1961, who worked as a school bus driver.
