North Korea continues to develop programs to create long-range ballistic missiles.
North Korea is trying to develop long-range ballistic missiles, which threatens not only South Korea and Japan, but also the United States. John Kirby, head of the White House National Security Council, announced this on Friday, January 26.
According to him, Washington has relevant intelligence information about the DPRK’s plans and is taking appropriate measures to protect its interests.
“We know that North Korea continues to develop advanced capabilities, including ballistic missiles,” Kirby said, cautioning that he would not release intelligence data.
“Obviously we’re going to do what we have to do to make sure we can protect the United States, protect our allies and partners,” he added.
Let’s recall that the United States previously warned that the use of nuclear weapons by the DPRK would lead to the “end of the regime” of Kim Jong-un.
