NSDC: Russia promotes “peace plan” through foreign media

This plan of action is an element of an information-psychological operation, the main purpose of which is to create an impression of the strong position of the Russian army on the battlefield against the backdrop of a lack of real success, according to the National Security and Defense Council.

Russia is promoting a “peace plan” through foreign media to end the war in Ukraine. This was announced on Sunday, June 19, by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

It was indicated that a 15-point list of actions appeared in the National Interest magazine and was immediately distributed by the Kremlin’s propaganda media.

Suggested include:

• Ukraine recognizes at the constitutional level neutrality and has renounced Crimea

• Russia removed troops from positions beginning February 23, 2022

• Until September, a referendum on the state ownership of these territories will be held in ORDLO

• Ukraine has severed any ties with NATO, reduces the army, destroys heavy weapons

• Neither side pays the reparation.

“This plan of action is an element of an information-psychological operation, the main purpose of which is to create an impression of the strong position of the Russian army on the battlefield against the backdrop of a lack of real “victory on the front. According to the ECFR survey, the population of Western countries is confident that Ukraine should win the war,” the message said.

Earlier, the National Security and Defense Council spoke about the new fake Kremlin. The latest manipulations and misinformation have concerned the acquisition of Russian passports, relations between Kyiv and Berlin, as well as deliveries of helicopters from the United States to Ukraine.
