The UK will be able to transfer long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine if it receives Taurus cruise missiles from Germany in return. London has sent a corresponding proposal to Berlin, German publication Handelsblatt reported on Wednesday, January 24, citing its own sources.
It was noted that the office of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is currently reviewing this proposal, but has not yet commented.
A person familiar with the talks told Reuters the proposed swap could find support in Berlin.
