The Kremlin is threatening the occupation administrations of the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine to reduce funding if there is a low turnout in the Russian presidential elections scheduled for spring.

This was reported today, January 24, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
The “expression of will”, which is due to take place in March 2024, should demonstrate local support for the occupation. However, traditionally there is no excitement around this farce at the TOT, notes the CNS.
It is noted that in preparation for the “elections”:
- political strategists and “volunteers” arrive in the region with the goal of falsifying the process and creating an imitation of a full-fledged vote;
- at the same time, Russians were allowed to vote without a Russian passport, at their place of residence, and extended the “elections” over three days to hide the low turnout;
- The enemy is also preparing to bring in state employees and organize “carousels.”
However, the Kremlin has already warned the Gauleiters that failure to turn out this time will lead to a reduction in funding and “personnel decisions,” the CNS notes and calls on TOT residents to continue to boycott the initiatives of the occupiers and not cooperate with them.
