The permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnichuk, wrote about this on January 23 on his social networks.
Changes have been made to the Technical Regulations regarding the requirements for motor gasoline, diesel, marine and boiler fuels, in particular, regarding the renewal of fuel quality requirements at a level not lower than Euro-5, Melnichuk wrote.
At the beginning of the Russian invasion, in March 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed the circulation of fuel of Euro 4 and Euro 3 standards in order to overcome the fuel crisis.
In addition, the requirements of EU directives banning the sale of leaded petrol and establishing requirements for fuel used in road vehicles and non-road mobile equipment (including inland navigation vessels), agricultural and forestry tractors and recreational vessels have been renewed.
