The security service has already blocked some email addresses and also called on Ukrainians not to respond to the email newsletter.
The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed the Russian IPSO, which is trying to sow panic among Ukrainians through email distribution. The SBU reported this on its Telegram channel.
We are talking about a large-scale email newsletter that began to arrive in the email addresses of Ukrainians, including representatives of government bodies and private companies.
“It was carried out from a large number of electronic mailboxes that were previously damaged by Russian hackers. The mailing has all the signs of a targeted information and psychological operation,” the message said.
The attackers offered cooperation with Russian intelligence services for a reward.
“The enemy is again trying to destabilize the situation inside our country,” the SBU said.
The security service blocked some of the addresses from which this transmission was carried out, and also called on Ukrainians not to respond to messages of this type.
We remind you that the Security Service collected evidence on the Russian blogger Elvina Borovkova, who publicly called for the genocide of Ukrainians.
In addition, Russian propagandist Armen Gasparyan was found guilty of public calls for the genocide of the Ukrainian people and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
