Robert Gorvat developed a method for acquiring land plots with a total area of 323 hectares.
The investigation into the case on the suspicion of the representative of the people of Ukraine of the ninth assembly and four other people of the seizure of more than 320 hectares of state land has been completed. This was reported by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
As is known, in 2016 – 2019, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Robert Gorvat, who had influence on the officials of the Main Directorate of the State GeoCadastre of one of the regions, developed a procedure for acquiring land plots that has a total area of 323 hectares, which is always used by a state enterprise. The director of a state-owned enterprise must renounce the right to use the land and contact the State Geocadaster State Administration of the region with the corresponding application.
After the termination of the right of use, the head of the State Geocadastre State Administration of the region gave land plots to predetermined individuals, who then sold them to a company controlled by the organizer of the scheme.
As a result of such actions, the state suffered more than 126 million hryvnias of damage.
Previously, law enforcement officials informed the participants of the scheme about the suspicion of misuse, embezzlement of property or its acquisition by abuse of official position. The penalty of the article provides up to 12 years imprisonment.
Earlier it was reported that the HACS assigned a bail of 26.8 million hryvnias to deputy Robert Horvat, who is suspected of taking state lands.
