In the south of the Dnepropetrovsk region, a power line was cut after a night attack by the Russians.
Over the past two days, DTEK electrical engineers have restored power supplies to more than 17 thousand consumers without electricity after Russia’s shelling of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The energy holding announced this on Sunday, January 21.
In particular, on January 19 and 20, more than 10 thousand houses were connected in the Donetsk region, and 7 thousand in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
“After a night attack, a power line was cut in the south of the Dnepropetrovsk region. More than 11 thousand houses were left without electricity. Now most of them are connected. Emergency crews are working to restore power to another 4.5 thousand de-energized homes as soon as possible,” the company said.
At the same time, the difficult situation remains in the Donetsk region due to the ongoing shelling. More than 60 crews are working on restoration efforts in the region every day. At the same time, specialists do not always have access to work sites due to the security situation.
DTEK assured that power engineers will definitely restore power to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission to carry out work from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We remind you that at the end of December, DTEK resumed electricity supplies to 463 thousand consumers. The largest number of power outages was recorded in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
