Trump made a complimentary statement to the Hungarian politician who supports Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Manchester, New Hampshire. The former US president called Orban a “great man” and a “great leader in Europe.”
Some people don’t like it because it’s too strong. It’s good to have a strong man at the head of the country,” Trump said.
As you know, in October 2023, Donald Trump named Viktor Orban the leader of Turkey.
The current Hungarian prime minister was the first European leader to support Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. He has also publicly supported Trump in the 2024 campaign and in his legal cases against the former US president.
Let us recall that in December last year, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, in a conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Beijing, called the Russian war against Ukraine a “military operation.” He subsequently explained that this was a “military operation” and “there was no declaration of war between the two countries.”
