In an interview with RECREIO, Sophia Valverde told what fears from her adolescence could be seen in “Turma da Mônica Jovem: Reflexos do Medo”
“Turma da Mônica Jovem: Reflexos do Medo” is now in theaters! The film, which follows the young version of the classic characters created by Mauricio de Sousapremiered last Thursday, the 18th, bringing a plot full of mysteries that must be solved by Mônica (Sophia Valverde), Magali (Bianca Paiva), Cascão (Théo Salomão), Onion (Xande Valois) and Milena (Carol Roberto).

The problem is that in this adventure, the members of the Gang will have to face their own fears to get rid of the threat, and in Mônica’s case, she is forced to deal with a great fear, presented at the beginning of the film as she records a video with the group and asks everyone to make a promise that they will never be separated: the fear of losing their friends!
With this in mind, RECREIO spoke to Sophia Valverde about the fears that the character she plays faces, leading to the following question: if the film addressed her teenage fears, Sofiawhat would be the challenges that the public would watch on screen?
The answer came in line with Dona da Rua. This happens, therefore, Sofia revealed that his fear is also losing his friends.
I think losing my friends too. I have a lot of friends, I’m very much that person who has a lot of friends, [melhor] I don’t have many friends, I have few friends, but the friends I have are very nice and trustworthy, you know? Just like Monica. Mônica doesn’t have many friends, she has that close-knit group of hers.”
Then, the artist completed her answer by revealing that she has two more big fears: losing the people she can call family and stopping doing the things she loves most.
I think my biggest fear is also losing my family and not being able to do what I love. These would be the fears of Turma da Sophia Jovem”, he concluded.
