Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky reported that on January 20, the enemy increased artillery activity – 703 artillery attacks were recorded.
Over the past 24 hours, there have been fewer engagements (30 in total) and the use of FPV drones. However, the Ukrainian commander wrote in his telegrams that the enemy was regrouping and the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preparing to increase its activity.
The occupiers concentrated their main efforts yesterday near Avdeevka, Nevelskoye and Pervomaisky. In the Avdeevsky direction, 23 enemy attacks were repelled. Georgievka, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka repelled 6 attacks. The enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to move forward west of Verbovoy. In particular, another Russian BMD-4 was destroyed in the Zaporozhye direction,” Tarnavsky said.
In the operational zone of the Tavria OSUSV, the total losses of Russian monsters amounted to 296 liquidated and 27 units of military equipment (three tanks, one armored fighting vehicle, an artillery system and 6 vehicles). The composition of the enemy’s ammunition ceased to exist.
