A kindergarten has opened in the Kharkov metro. 650 children have already enrolled in it – a quarter of all future first-graders in the city.

The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, announced this today, January 20, in his Telegram channel.
Just a year ago, the prospect of offline learning during the war in Kharkov seemed impossible. And today we not only conduct regular lessons in standard classes, but also launch a metro kindergarten for preschoolers, Terekhov emphasized.
It is noted that the metro garden will be open on Saturdays and Sundays. According to Terekhov, everyone had and still has the opportunity to join – the only selection criterion is age.
I am confident in the success of this project and hope to share with you plans for its expansion in the near future,” Terekhov concluded.
