The brother of businessman Igor Mazepa, Yuri, who is one of those detained in the case of a criminal organization, was sent to custody on Saturday night, January 20, by the court with an alternative to bail of 44 million hryvnias, Suspilne reports .
It was noted that the prosecutor’s office requested to set bail for Yuri Mazepa in the amount of 500 million hryvnias, but the court reduced it to 44 million hryvnias.
“We reduced the bail from 500 million hryvnias, 10 times. We also paid for a paid camera in advance, we will check it,” said his lawyer Artem Krikun-Trush.
Yuri Mazepa, according to lawyer Taras Poshivanyuk, is also suspected of participating in a criminal group. However, he said he did not know the details.
