The Circle to Search tool will be available on select premium smartphones from January 31, and the multi-search feature is now available on all.
Google has launched two new search tools using artificial intelligence – Circle to Search and Multisearch. This is stated on the company’s blog.
It is mentioned that the change will make the search more natural and intuitive.
So, users of some Android smartphones will be able to circle or highlight elements that appear on the screen to ask Google about them using the Circle to Search feature.
It will launch on January 31 globally, but only on select premium Android smartphones, starting with the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
In addition, a multi-search function has appeared – users will be able to point the camera (or upload a photo or screenshot) and immediately ask a question through Google.
For example, a person sees an unfamiliar board game and asks Google how to play it – and receives an analysis based on artificial intelligence data that combines the most relevant information from all over the Internet.
Google believes this will allow users to ask more complex questions or clarify nuances about what the user sees, as well as quickly find and understand key information.
