The United States of America has again struck Houthi anti-ship missile positions.
The US military on Friday, January 19, again attacked Houthi anti-ship missile sites in Yemen. CNN reported this citing sources.
This is the sixth time in 10 days that the United States has attacked Houthi targets.
The TV channel does not provide data on how effective US strikes have been against the rebels.
Remember that on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian radical group Hamas attacked Israel. In response, Israel launched an operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Yemen’s Houthi rebels, in turn, began shelling ships in the Red Sea.
On the night of January 12, the United States and Britain launched the first strikes against the Houthis over their attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
Currently, normal cargo transportation in the Red Sea is disrupted, with more and more commercial ships changing routes and moving around Africa.
