An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred in the east of Euboea, the second largest island in Greece after Crete. The tremors were felt by the inhabitants of Athens. This was reported by Ekathimerini on Friday, January 19.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. Its epicenter was 23 kilometers east-southeast of the coastal city of Kimi.
There have been no reports of casualties or injuries.
