Magomed Daudov was involved in the formation of attack troops of Chechen militants for the war against Ukraine.
An investigation has been completed into the head of the Chechen parliament, Magomed Daudov, who contributed to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. The SBU reported this on Friday, January 19.
It is indicated that from May 2022 to October 2023, Daudov carried out the instructions of the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, to form assault troops for the war against Ukraine.
“With Daudov’s direct participation, the 78th motorized special forces regiment “North-Akhmat” was created in the North Caucasus, as well as the battalions “South-Akhmat”, “West-Akhmat” and “East-Akhmat”. , the enemy units were included in the groups of occupation forces of the Russian Federation and were transferred to the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine,” the message said.
It was mentioned that there were “Kadyrovites” who engaged in repressions against civilians, kidnapping those who resisted the Nazis.
“In addition, in July-November 2022, Daudov repeatedly personally visited the temporarily occupied Lysichansk, Popasnaya and Mariupol. During his travels, he met with militant leaders and encouraged them to conduct military operations against Defense Forces,” the SBU added.
Daudov is reported on suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

interference with the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, resulting in the death of people and other serious consequences (Part 5 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 110);

planning, preparing, unleashing and launching an aggressive war (part 5 of article 27, part 2 of article 437);

justification, recognition as legitimate, rejection of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants (Part 3 of Art. 436-2).
The indictment has been sent to the court.
Let’s recall that in December 2023, President Vladimir Zelensky adopted new sanctions against Russia. Then Apti Alaudinov and Ramzan Tsitsulaev, associates of Ramzan Kadyrov, were included in the sanctions list.
