On Thursday, January 18, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv ordered one of the defendants in the case of supplying low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which appeared businessman Igor Grinkevich and his son Roman, who arrest with possibility. of bail in the amount of 500 million Hryvnia. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Nadezhda Maksimets, reports Ukrinform.
“We have the first decision. The prosecutor’s request was granted, one of the suspects was given a preventive measure in the form of detention until March 16 with a bail of 500 million hryvnia. Consideration of the other two requests continues, “he says.
For all three defendants in the case, they are asking for a preventive measure in the form of arrest with the possibility of posting a bail of 500 million hryvnias for each.

He offered 500 thousand dollars to one of the heads of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation. For this, the businessman wants “assistance” in the return of property seized from companies under his control during the criminal investigation.
The State Bureau of Investigation has opened several criminal proceedings regarding transactions related to the purchase of clothing and linen for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lviv business companies won 23 tenders to supply the Ministry of Defense with clothing worth 1.5 billion hryvnias.
The Ministry of Defense terminated the agreements concluded with Grinkevich. The businessman’s family property and controlled companies were seized.
