Later, Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin said that an oil depot in Russian St. Petersburg was attacked by a Ukrainian-made drone.
That night we hit the target, and this thing flew exactly 1,250 km,” the minister said.
Let us remind you that on this night UAVs attacked St. Petersburg for the first time.
As the Russian Ministry of Defense stated, “one unmanned aerial vehicle was intercepted over the territory of the Leningrad region” (they also claim one “destroyed UAV” in the Moscow region).
According to Russian TG channels, drones attacked the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal.
The Shot channel writes that “one UAV fell on the territory of the terminal and caught fire.”
According to the Baza channel, a total of three drones were launched: two were allegedly suppressed by electronic warfare forces and fell into the Gulf of Finland, and another was “shot down” over the territory of the oil and gas terminal at about 1.30 am.
According to the TG channel, the “pieces” of the drone fell in the open area of one of the port’s elevator sites between fuel oil tanks. After the fall, the drone exploded, causing a fire. There were no casualties.
According to the “Base”, the UAVs “were launched from the direction of Ukraine and flew through the Bryansk, Smolensk, Tver and Novgorod regions.”
