The Polish president noted that the emergence of a new NATO state between Russia and Poland will strengthen his country’s security.

Polish President Andrzej Duda met with Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. PolskieRadio24.pl reported this on Tuesday, January 16.

During the meeting, they visited an exhibition dedicated to war crimes in Russia. It took place at the Ukrainian House in Davos.

Duda assured Zelensky that his country’s policy on Ukraine “will be stable, it will be a policy of support at all times.”

According to the Polish leader, in a few days the new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, will visit Kyiv.

He added that he believes in the ability to pursue good policies towards Ukraine with the Polish government.

Duda also noted that the emergence of a new NATO state between Russia and Poland would strengthen his country’s security. He emphasized that Ukraine needs strong support from the West, especially in terms of weapons.

Let’s remember that Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that the world should tighten sanctions against Russia and give Ukraine long-range missiles.

It was also reported that Poland has transferred 18 Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine; in general, there are agreements to provide Ukraine with more than fifty such vehicles.
