Three people were killed and 24 injured in an explosion at one of the furniture factories in Baku’s Binagadi district. This was reported today, January 15, by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan.
The fire was localized, but people remained under the rubble.
“24 people were injured in varying degrees of severity, three of whom were removed from the rubble during search and rescue operations,” the statement said.

Emergency workers are on scene.
A criminal case was opened. The cause of the explosion is still being investigated.
Recently, a video appeared online in which one of the train workers showed the consequences of sabotage in Nizhny Tagil, Russia. The explosion near the San Donato station and the nearby Gazprom oil depot occurred on January 8.
