Many so-called private military companies were created based on the Wagner PMC, under the control of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian Guard.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky said that all Russian PMC groups Wagner reformatted. A part of them is under the RF Armed Forces, the other has joined similar private companies. He spoke about it in an interview RBC-Ukraine.
“Many so-called private military companies have already been created, which are under the control of the Russian Ministry of Defense and under the control of the Russian Guard,” Skibitsky said.
According to him, “Wagnerites” who sign a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense or the Russian National Guard extend their service either to the Russian armed forces or to other private companies.
“There was also a reformatting of the group Wagner in other countries where they were involved, especially in Africa, in the Middle East – in Syria, in Libya,” said the GUR representative.
Skibitsky added that in these countries the PMCs Wagnerconsequently, ceases to exist; there are other private military campaigns operating there, controlled by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
We remind you that ISW disclosed the “secret” work of PMCs Wagner in Belarus. It was noted that “Wagnerites” cooperate with the personnel of the 51st artillery brigade and the cadets of the Belarusian Military Academy.
It was also reported that “Wagnerites” were brought from Belarus to Mali.
