The target of missile attacks by the Russian occupiers is not the energy sector of Ukraine, as was the case last winter.

Now the aggressor country is concentrating all its efforts on destroying, first of all, the objects of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, headquarters, control systems and individual units that are located on the front line. However, Russia is not achieving its goals. Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, modern weapons used by the enemy, in particular Kinzhal missiles, are very inaccurate. And above all, the civilian population suffers the most as a result of missile attacks.
Skibitsky also noted that the threat to Ukraine’s energy system still remains.
Military intelligence clearly knows that they have conducted analyzes for striking our energy facilities in 2022-2023. The Russians have identified the most critical objects that can be hit by missile weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, he noted.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate added that the occupiers continue to regularly carry out space photography of Ukrainian energy facilities in order to attack them if possible.
Let us recall that on January 2, the Russian occupiers fired a short-range missile developed by North Korea into the central part of Kharkov. Military experts on the interdepartmental working group at the Office of the Prosecutor General came to similar conclusions. A comprehensive commission examination is currently underway, which should finally confirm this fact.
