Extra actor James Hunter filed a lawsuit against British actress Mia Goth for assault. Deadline reported this.
A man claims he was hired in three days to play a “dead churchgoer” in the movie MaXXXine. To do this, he had to be smeared with fake blood and lie on the ground. In court documents, James Hunter said he suffered a concussion as a result.
The lawsuit also claims that after another take, while she was in the bathroom, Mia Goth came in and “taunted, taunted and humiliated” her.
The next day, the casting agency informed the actor that he had been suspended from filming without explanation and should not return to the set. The defendants in the case are film director Ti West and film studio A24. Therefore, the man is seeking $250,000 in compensation from the team for “medical expenses,” “rehabilitation,” and illegal dismissal.
