Road accident in Lviv region: the Kyiv-Chop highway is blocked

Due to a road accident, the police partially blocked traffic on the Kyiv-Chop state highway.

In the Lviv region near the city of Vinniki on Saturday, January 13, an accident occurred with injuries. The police blocked the Kyiv-Chop highway. This was reported by the Patrol Police of Ukraine.

Law enforcement officials said there were injuries as a result of the accident. Other details of the incident and the number of victims were not disclosed.

Due to a road accident, traffic on the Kyiv-Chop state highway was partially blocked.

“Traffic on this section of the road is blocked. All necessary services are working at the scene,” the message said.

Patrolmen organized the reverse movement of traffic. Police are urging drivers to use caution on the roads and consider weather conditions.

Earlier it was reported that in the Kyiv region, a drunk driver ran into a police officer. The man was detained on the Kyiv-Odessa highway, where he managed to drive about three kilometers.
