The Office of the Prosecutor General has received preliminary evidence that Russia struck Ukraine with North Korean missiles.
Ukrainian investigators have obtained the first preliminary evidence that Russia may have used North Korean-made missiles in the January 2 Kharkov shelling. Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin announced this in a telethon.
“On North Korea: the other day we received the first evidence of the possible use by the Russian armed forces of missiles produced in this country. The results of a preliminary scientific and technical analysis confirm that the missile was fired at central part of Kharkov on January 2 is a short-range missile developed by North Korea,” – he said.
According to the Prosecutor General, military experts from the interdepartmental working group under the UCP, who were also at the site and conducted a preliminary analysis and analysis of the missile’s components, came to similar conclusions.
A comprehensive commission review is currently underway, which should finally confirm this fact. Prosecutors are also working on other missile debris at the sites of recent attacks in the Kharkov and Odessa regions.
We remind you that the White House released information about the transfer of North Korean weapons to the Russian Federation. According to White House National Security Council coordinator John Kirby, Russia has launched similar missiles at Ukraine several times.
