The explosion near the San Donato station and the nearby Gazprom oil and gas station happened on January 8.
A video appeared online in which one of the railway workers showed the consequences of sabotage to destroy the fuel tanks of the Russian Nizhny Tagil train.
According to the author of the video, as a result of the explosion, nine fuel tanks received various degrees of damage. Due to a strong fire and burning fuel, all damaged vehicles will be removed.
“Here are the torn trailers – nine of them. They got through – how loud was this explosion?! It’s a masterpiece (showed pieces of metal that were opened – ed.). Be vigilant!” – a resident of Nizhny Tagil described his impressions.
According to Russian media reports, the explosion occurred as a result of an improvised explosive device. It was placed under one of the train’s fuel tanks at the San Donato station.
