At a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander, they discussed the opening of new arms production lines in Ukraine.
President Vladimir Zelensky mentioned the need to speed up military logistics. The head of state said this in an evening speech, summarizing the results of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters held on Tuesday, January 9.
“The main thing is that all logistics should be faster. We also discussed the opening of new lines for the production of weapons and ammunition in Ukraine – at our enterprises and with partners,” said the president.
Zelensky added that the meeting also discussed the supplies that Ukraine expects this year.
“With all the existing problems in the world, our careful, clear approach to every need, every time will be able to provide the Defense Forces with everything they need. We see how to implement Ukrainian priorities this year : what is needed for this, who is needed for this and what signals can work,” added the head of state.
According to him, at the Headquarters they separately and in detail analyzed the work of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the results of shooting down Russian missiles and drones.
“What we have succeeded in. What we must do. We continue to work with all partners to strengthen our air defense,” the president said.
We remind you that Zelensky now holds the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The commanders of the main directions and operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were personally present.
Earlier, the president said that Ukraine maintains a springboard for war with the Russian Federation.
