Find out which scenes and characters should be different in Nickelodeon series
The result does not always reflect what was initially planned. In the case of Nickelodeon series, this means that some of the events that should have been included throughout the episodes ended up being discarded, OR somehow changing the original idea that the creators had for a certain moment.
With that in mind, RECREIO brought together 5 scenes and characters changed in Nickelodeon series that you need to know.
1. Secrets about Josh’s mother from “Drake & Josh” would be revealed
In TV series, it is common for some details about the characters to remain secret, especially if they do not contribute to the development of the story, or provide answers that are not essential to be clarified. It is for this reason that one of the scenes from “Drake & Josh” was deleted, as revealed by the series creator, Dan Schneiderto Seventeen.
This happens because the name and profession of Josh’s mother, which are never said throughout the series, would be revealed in the final episode. According to Sevenenten, at Helen’s wedding, someone would ask, “Hey, Audrey. How’s your catering business going?” The speech was filmed and included in the first version of the episode, but was eventually deleted.
On the one hand, I thought it was funny to finally reveal this, so casually, in the last episode — there was something ironic about it. But then I decided that because the fans always seemed to have fun trying to figure out (what ‘Mom’s’ name and job was), it would be best to ‘keep it up’ for eternity by never revealing it in any episode,” he said. Schneider.
2. Vicky had two brothers in “The Fairly OddParents”

In “The Fairly OddParents”, Timmy Turner’s nanny, Vicky, had two brothers. The idea was presented in the pilot episode, as reported by Seveenten, where, in addition to her younger sister called Tootie, who ended up remaining in the series, Vicky says she has a younger brother, who was never mentioned again in the animation.
3. Cookie wouldn’t be Cookie in “Ned’s School Survival Manual”

In “Ned’s School Survival Manual”, Simon Nelson Cook, Cookie, would have a different name and would be played by a different actor. According to Ned’s interpreter, Devon Werkheiserin a statement to TVGuide, the character was called Boogie, and was played by Stephen Markarianbut everything changed after a redesign.
After the pilot, Nickelodeon tested new Neds, Mozes and Cookies so they could recast at least one of these characters as ethnically diverse,” said Devon. “Daniel Curtis Lee arrived and absolutely nailed the role and the rest is history.”
4. The beginning of “Victorious” would be very different

“Victorious” debuted in 2010 featuring Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) investigating different types of mold, but the initial scene would be very different. The original idea (which was actually filmed) was to show a flashback of Tori and her sister, Trina (Daniella Monet) singing Annie’s song ‘I Don’t Need Anything But You’ to her parents’ friends. Everything was going well, until Trina bumped into Tori’s head, causing the youngest to fall.
5. Dustin and Drake Bell sing together on “Zoey 101”

Drake Bell, known for bringing Drake to life in “Drake & Josh”, appeared in “Zoey 101”. In the episode “Spring Fling”, Drake takes the stage and performs his own songs for children at Pacific Coast Academy, but what few know is that Dustin (Paul Butcher) joined Drake for a performance of one of the songs.
The revelation was made by Butcher to Seventeen, as he shared that it was one of his “favorite memories of being on set.”
