Luhansk region Gauleiter Leonid Pasechnik said that about 300 people were evacuated within a one-kilometer radius from the scene of the incident.
The occupiers say that sappers in Rubezhnoye allegedly “neutralized an abnormal bomb that came from a plane of the Russian Aerospace Forces.” This was stated by the Gauleiter of the occupied part of the Lugansk region, Leonid Pasechnik, the Russian propaganda news agency Interfax reported on Tuesday, January 9.
“Thanks to the quick and careful work of the engineering and sapper team of the Ministry of Defense, the ammunition of the aircraft, located on the territory of a private household in Rubezhnoye, was neutralized and removed. People’s lives were not that’s in danger,” said the quasi-officer.
According to him, around 300 people living within a one kilometer radius of the area where the bullets fell were evacuated during the sapping work.
“Rubezhnoye city administration helped people to stay in temporary accommodation centers and gave everyone hot food. Now, residents are returning to their homes,” assured Pasechnik.
Let’s recall that Pasechnik reported that FAB-250 bullets fell from a Russian plane and “landed” in Rubezhnoye on January 8.
Let’s add that recently one of the missiles of the Russian invaders, launched across the territory of Ukraine, did not reach and fell in the village of Petropavlovka, Voronezh region of the Russian Federation. The invaders launched the missile from the Caspian Sea.
