The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, reported on Telegram that several explosions had already occurred in the city.
The Russian invaders launched missile attacks on Kharkov on Sunday night, January 7th. An air raid alert has been declared in the city and region. The head of Kharkov OVA Oleg Sinegubov announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Attention to the residents of Kharkov and the region. The invaders are striking, stay in the shelters,” said the official.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces previously reported the threat of ballistic weapons in the Kharkov region.

“Kharkov is under missile attack. There have already been several explosions in the city,” the official wrote.
As already written, on the night and morning of January 2, the Russian army launched missiles into Ukraine. In particular, Kyiv and Kharkov came under widespread attack, and explosions were heard in other regions.
Subsequently, it became known that in Kharkov one person died, and 62 people were injured, six of them were children.
