Employees of the road patrol station of the city of Sarny in the Rivne region saved the life of a truck driver who became ill while driving.

Patrolmen Vitaly Luksha, Alexander Romantsov and Alexey Saturday noticed a truck that suddenly changed direction. The DAF then hit a road sign, drove through a lawn and stopped, crashing into a concrete installation, the National Police of Ukraine reported on January 7.
The police ran up to the driver and saw that the man was unconscious. They quickly turned off the engine, put the car on the parking brake, removed the driver from the car and promptly began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Paramedics arrived later. The helmsman was moved to the ambulance, one of the patrolmen also left with them and continued to help resuscitate the victim.
