Su-34 and Su-35 are the most modern aircraft of the Russian occupiers. Their production under sanctions is quite lengthy and problematic. Russia is capable of producing only up to three units of these aircraft per year. This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuri Ignat, commenting on the arson of the Su-34 at the Shagol airfield.
As you know, the Su-34 is a multifunctional fighter-bomber designed to carry out missile and bomb strikes against ground targets. This tactical aircraft is capable of attacking targets at a distance of 150-600 km from impact.
Let us recall that on January 4, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported the arson and destruction of a Su-34 at the Shagol airfield in Russian Chelyabinsk.
In just the last few weeks, the Russian Federation has lost four Su-34s shot down, three of which were grounded by the Ukrainian Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, and one Su-30SM.
