On January 3, Air Force aviation carried out strikes on 12 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. And the missile forces hit an area where enemy personnel were concentrated, three air defense systems, three artillery weapons, an electronic warfare station and two enemy control points. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for January 4.
Over the past 24 hours, 58 military clashes took place at the front. In the Kupyansky direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed three enemy attacks in the Sinkovka area and east of Petropavlovka, Kharkov region. Four more enemy assaults were repelled in the Bakhmut direction.
The enemy continues to put pressure on the Defense Forces in the Avdiivka direction. Near Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoye, Avdeevka, 13 attacks were repulsed, and 19 assaults were stopped in the Severny, Pervomaisky and Nevelsky areas of the Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continue to contain the enemy near Georgievka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region – they repelled 14 attacks here.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces are expanding their bridgehead. However, the enemy, despite heavy losses, is trying to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. The enemy tried to attack nine times unsuccessfully.
