The head of the Polish National Security Bureau emphasized that it is difficult to assume that the 40-kilometer incursion from the border was accidental.

Russia may have made a provocation with a missile that violated Polish airspace in the mass shelling of Ukraine on December 29. This was said by the head of the Polish National Security Bureau, Jacek Severa, Reuters reports.

“I can’t get rid of it. The allies aren’t getting rid of it either,” the official said.

According to him, it is difficult to assume that the 40-kilometer fall from the border was accidental; the type of trajectory strongly violates Polish airspace.

He suggested that the change of government in Poland could also be one of the reasons for the provocation. The Kremlin probably wants to check how the Polish authorities will react.

As you know, in Poland they recorded the appearance of an “unknown object” that flew from the territory of Ukraine during a massive missile attack by the Russian Federation.

Poland has put its air forces on high alert
