The city of Belgorod in the Russian Federation was again under fire.

On Tuesday, January 2, the air raid alert was announced three times in this regional center. The city, located 40 km from the Ukrainian Kharkov, was attacked by the Vilkha multiple launch rocket system. Russian air defense shot down nine Ukrainian missiles. This statement was made public by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to a representative of the Russian dictatorship, at about 11.00 Kyiv time, four missiles were allegedly shot down, and subsequently five more were allegedly shot down on approach to Belgorod.
At least two people were injured as a result of the Russian air defense. The woman was treated at the scene, and the man was taken to hospital. In the regional center, a commercial premises and several cars were damaged by debris.
Let us recall that on December 30, the Security and Defense Forces launched a missile attack on military targets in the Russian city of Belgorod. On that day, ineffective Russian air defense had already wreaked havoc on the city’s civilian infrastructure.
In addition, as a result of a strike on military targets in Belgorod, an officer of the Russian Investigative Committee, Mikhail Konopitsyn, was killed.
