At least seven private residential buildings in the village of Petropavovka in the Voronezh region were damaged due to aircraft munitions falling from a Russian aircraft. This was announced by the Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev.

According to him, no one was injured as a result of the incident. Residents of several streets of Petropavlovka are being transported to temporary accommodation centers, in particular to the nearest boarding house.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that at approximately 9.00 on January 2, during the flight of a Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft over Petropavlovka, “an abnormal convergence of aircraft ammunition occurred.”
According to the Russian military, six private buildings were damaged, but there were no casualties. A commission is working on site to assess the nature of the damage.
