Planes collide in Japan: one catches fire

The passengers and crew of the Airbus A350 survived, but several coast guard personnel died.

At Tokyo airport, a Japan Airlines plane with nearly 400 people on board collided with a coast guard aircraft while landing. Due to the incident, the plane completely caught fire. This was confirmed by a video that appeared online on Tuesday, January 2.

The video shows the moment the burning plane lands and 360 people are evacuated.

As we already wrote, a Su-34 bomber crashed in Russia. The plane crashed far away from the populated areas.

In addition, an Aermacchi fighter jet crashed in Italy, killing a child.
