According to Slovak Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy, the helicopters are already in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This assistance to Ukraine, like all previous deliveries, will be returned to Slovakia from the European Peace Fund, which is a strong definition of European Union solidarity with Ukraine,” he said.
Slovakia is expected to receive a US UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter in return.
