According to Slovak Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy, the helicopters are already in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“This assistance to Ukraine, like all previous deliveries, will be returned to Slovakia from the European Peace Fund, which is a strong definition of European Union solidarity with Ukraine,” he said.

Slovakia is expected to receive a US UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter in return.

Earlier, Ukraine signed a contract with Slovakia for the supply of eight Zuzana 2 howitzers. This gun mount is capable of firing at a distance of up to 40 kilometers. The howitzer allows you to fire in MRSI mode – multiple shells can hit the target at once.
